Camden's Surgery

Camden had his tonsils and adenoids out on Friday. He actually did pretty good. He refused to drink so after spending 6 hours in recovery they moved us to the 5th floor for the night! He eventually started eating Popsicles and drinking some. They released us this morning and we are hoping we continue to be on the mend.

He has such a funny personality. While waiting for them to call us back Friday morning he was playing with a little girl in the waiting room. The nurse comes out and calls his name and he yells out....."what?" Needless to say he provided entertainment in the waiting room.

I was nervous about how he would react when they took him to the operating room, when they came for him the anesthesiologist asked if he wanted to ride on the bed and go fast and of course he said Yes!!!! So literally they got him out the doorway and took off running and you hear him bust out laughing, they were going so fasrt the nurse was running past trying to get the door open, when she slapped the wall button he yelled out, "what was that?"

Dr. Sims said we will be surprised how much quieter he will breath and better he will sleep, I'm sure glad this is behind us!
