Costumes in Progress

Cariann and Camden have a new found love for Shark Boy and Lava girl. As we began talking about Halloween, Cariann decide that she wanted to be Lava Girl and wanted Camden to be Shark Boy. I thought this was a cute idea until I started hunting for costumes. Well the only ones I found ranged from 80-120..... YIKES

Then I found a blog with a tutorial, I enlisted the help of my mom or in other words I asked her to make it because she and my grandmother can do anything together (somehow this trait bypassed me). We just talked about it yesterday and today I got these work in progress pictures. The first picture is what I sent her, the others are what she sent me.

I'm pretty proud of them and most of all so thankful my mom and grandmother are making something special my kids will love. They always made things for me.
