Cariann got her tubes put in this morning, thankfully about 4:15 her fever broke! Come to find out the fever all week was from a current ear infection even though she was on an antibiotic. Dr. Sims said he cleaned out the current infection, and also suctioned out what was behind the ear drums! I guess I was hoping for a miracle, she is better this evening but still very fussy. Her ears are continuously draining and rather gross. I can only imagine how that felt being stuck in there.
Not to continue on with the sad news but I am so thankful my mom was here last night. Jonathan stayed at his parents house last night, which would have left me at home alone, which would have been horrible if mom hadn't saved the night. Cariann had the worst night she had in all of her 11 months. She went to bed at 8:30 was up at 10:30 and never got back in her bed. Mom and I took turns rocking her in the rocking chair and at 3:45 I gave up and got in the shower and started getting ready. She is staying again tonight, I almost feel as apprehensive as I did the first night we brought Cariann home from the hospital. We were so spoiled by her from about months 3-7; she would lay down wide awake, go to sleep on her own, and sleep through the night maybe requiring me to walk in there and give her a paci occasionally. The last few months have been a drastic change and I sure hope our baby girl gets to feeling better soon.
Thank you all for remembering us. We love you all, and will hopefully be back to normal activities soon!!

Poor little thing. Hope all feels better soon. You are such a good mommy and I know your nerves are shot, but relief is in sight.
I am so glad that she has some relief! I can't wait for her to be back to herself! WE miss her so much and can't wait to see her again! We love you all so much! Give her lots of hugs and kisses from Aunt Jess, Uncle T and Ella! Let us know if you need anything!!!!
