On the Go….

We had another busy weekend; it seems lately they are all this way!!! We started out Friday night by having a cookout at Shane and Jessica Doyle’s. They were so nice to host us along with several other couples. Needless to say there was lots of fun and memories made!!! At one point the babies got into a crying match to see who could cry the longest and loudest!!! We will look back on this night one day and laugh!

Saturday, Cariann and I went to pick up Aunt Jess and Cousin Ella. This was an interesting ride because both girls decided they were hungry. So Jessica, being the wonderful mom and aunt she is sat in the very back seat of the van and gave both of the girls their bottles all the way to Bowling Green. It was a pretty interesting site. We were heading to Anna-Kate’s birthday party at the Paint n’ Place, which was an event in itself. There were tons of people there, the air wasn’t working properly, and Cariann was in need of a nap. Those three combined leads to one thing…A SWEATY MOM!!!!

After the party was over, we headed to Shogun with Carol, Shaun, Evan, Jessica, Travis, and Ella. We had such a great time and the food was wonderful. Evan was very entertaining, he thought at one point he could cook better than our cook. Finally, we headed to Wal-Mart to get groceries and then home.

Sunday, we had Sunday school, Church, we went to Beaver Dam’s baptizing to see Ali and Sawyer get baptized, and then Jonathan conducted prayer meeting. It was a long day and Cariann was WORN OUT!!!! We usually go to DQ after prayer meeting, but Cariann had all the fun she could stand for one day. She passed out as soon as we got home and slept until I had to wake her up to go to Sue’s.

The fun continued Monday; we had pictures made at Jessica’s. After finishing pictures she let me see her house and it is BEATUFIUL!!! Then the fun ended when Noah was her crying in the other room and to our disbelief little Mel had passed away!!! The ironic thing was we were just talking about Mel and how he got the name “Mel”. This must have sparked his interest to go play with him so he ran out and found him. It was so sad.

So tonight we are planning on relaxing, Jonathan is preparing for school to start, and to be honest I am looking forward to him going back, he will be up with me in the mornings to help me get Cariann ready! (Don’t tell him I said that!)

Who and what is Mel. You tell us that he passed away, and I am hoping it is an animal, not that that is not sad, but you know what I mean.

We did have a great weekend!  We were on the go constantly, but it was fun, except the heat stroke we all were nearing!
